Investments Manager, Aviva Pensions

Reporting to: CEO, Aviva Pensions

The role:

- Development of investment and asset allocation options for approval by the Investment Committee and implementation of the agreed strategies
- Documenting investment procedures and implementation of investment policy in direct relationship with regulatory and internal limitations
- Review and implement of investment policies in line with regulatory and Aviva Group requirements
- Preparation of Board / Group papers and proposals for approval
- Supervise the investment function activities (analyzing performance of investments, preparation of reports, etc.)
- Ensure the Investments team maintains appropriate relationships with market counter-parties and advisers including stockbrokers, custodian and depositary banks, etc.
- Perform other analyses and projects as needed, including the needs for market data sources and facilities (e.g. Bloomberg)

Profile:
- University graduate in an economic discipline
- CFA (or progress towards) is an asset
- Minimum 3 years of investments experience of which 1 year should be in one of the following: reconciliations and equity analysis, OR fundamental and /or technical analysis OR investment reporting
- Experience in managing a fund with responsibility for making asset allocation recommendations and decisions is welcome
- Good communication and interpersonal skills (Fluent English)
- Proficiency in MS Office; Bloomberg knowledge / skills is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Able to work under pressure and to prioritise to meet deadlines
