RISK & COMPLIANCE MANAGER
Responsibilities:
Ensure that strategic, operational and business risks are identified, assessed and managed through an efficient risk management process
Provide risk management advice, support and challenge to senior management and verifies the risk reports
Creates and maintains the company’s risk profile and reports risk exposures to senior management, Management Board and Aviva GroupEnsures that risk related legal requirements are escalated and implemented locally in Aviva Establishes, together with the risk responsible team, risk management procedures and ensures that these are aligned both to Aviva Group procedures and to local legal requirements
Establishes, together with the risk responsible team, a system of limits for risk exposure and a periodical monitoring and reporting system that reflects the company’s selected risk profile and that is in compliance with local lawsEnsures alignment with Aviva Group’s Risk Management framework
Coordinates the compliance team’s activity and the prevention and reporting of money laundring
Profile:
University degree in a relevant field, preferably in economics; post graduate studies are welcome
Minim 3 years of experience in the insurance field and minimum 2 years of relevant risk management experience (preferably in financial services)
Practical experience of operating risk and governance frameworks; regulatory compliance exposure is useful
Good team coordination skills with cross functional members across the company
Very good written, presentational and oral communication both in Romanian and English
Strong problem solving skills and negotiating skills
Analytical, detail oriented with proactive attitude, the ability to work with tight deadlines and very good time management skills
Accustomed to working with large Group policies, standards and methods is useful
